Welcome,

I am Greta and I live with my husband, Gerald, and my 3 sons, Peter, Hans and Bart in a paradise in the province of Antwerp, in Belgium (zone 7).  We give our paradise the name “Doelhof,” like the region where it is situated.
The flower garden and the vegetable garden cross through each other and are 1500 m² large. There is also a large greenhouse (5/15m) where I still sow and nurse many seeds and plants. This season in my garden, I am growing about 1000 different hardy plants and shrubs, and many annuals have found their place this year as well. The garden changes every year, because some plants die and others are just a test. Naturally, I also have a list of plants that I would like to see grow and flower in my garden.
I don’t make many visits to other gardens, because I don’t have much time and I have no desire to go alone; also, there is no flower friend nearby.
In the winter, during the evenings, I make plans for the next season. It is also a time for seed trades (from September to December), to have a look at catalogues and at the computer for more information about my plants and... a different thing... to embroider and to make music.
